Barfly was inspired by the life of C.Bukowski, the most famous barfly, who spends all of their time at the bar, living life on their own terms, out of the ordinary. Barfly wants to create the same feeling for their guests, to come there and spend time with them and become a barfly of Amsterdam. People always tell us that the drinks and staff here are fantastic!

You'll definitely appreciate the exotic atmosphere and fine decor as the bar has an industrial, retro, vintage look that offers a unique atmosphere. They offer a selection of beer, wine, signature cocktails, and Mediterranean-influenced food. Their cocktails are inspired by the most famous classic cocktails of the last century. At that time, C. Bukowski rose in fame for his writing as much as his lifestyle as a barfly. They took those drinks, wholly modernized and twisted them and finally rebuilt them into their signature cocktails. They all have a Mediterranean touch making them light, crisp and fresh.
